He got schooled

This is one of those times where you probably had to be there but it's a proud and funny moment - so I'll share.

You all know Kyle... our 130 lb. pony we often pass off as a dog. Despite his size, he is very much at the bottom of the ladder in our pack and today, that was made crystal clear. He is, overall, a very well behaved dog but sometimes thinks he can have an attitude... this doesn't go over well with us (you'd think he learn by now) since the moment you let an animal of his size and strength think they're anything but last in line, you're in for trouble. (but really any animal kept as a pet)

So, today he was laying around watching Kaitlyn play when he decided to grab a shoe. Kaitlyn walked over to him and he growled at her. He only ever growls - never bites. Nevertheless, Kaitlyn didn't think this was appropriate behavior and immediately disciplined him - at the ripe age of 21 months. She found the nearest magazine, folded it in half, walked confidently over to Kyle and popped him on the nose with it!

Chris and I just watched and laughed at Kyle, the surprised look on his face and the fact that he was just schooled by Kaitlyn. Ok - I think you really had to be there, but just imagine a 30lb toddler vs. a 130lb dog and the toddler winning. good stuff.
