Here's a belly shot from 2 weeks ago (33 weeks) to tide you all over until Chris returns with the camera for an update.

CAUTION: This may disturb some viewers.

Well, seeing that it's been a month to the day since I have shared my worldly wisdom and tales from the never ending excitement that is my life with all of cyberspace... I regress.

Chris has spent every waking moment these past 2 months studying for the Bar exam - which was on Feb. 22 & 23. It's been tough for him to adjust to having free time and has now decided that we need to gut & remodel the kitchen, utility room, and bathroom, finish a small area in the basement and move the washer/dryer down there, build a new garage, and landscape the yard. That is - AFTER the hardwoods are all installed. Yes, yes - we have not touched them since Thanksgiving, 3 months ago. But, we have good excuses. I have been told though, that they will be finished before the baby arrives. (cause you know I ain't helpin') lol

As of Feb. 15th, I am a stay at home mom to a dog & two cats. They are all very happy about it. But, I'm finding that it's much easier to be at work, sitting at a desk all day than to be at home, cleaning & putting together a nursery. Which, by the way, is coming along quite nicely!

Last weekend, I spent a few hours removing the last of our clothes from what has been a huge walk-in closet the past year and a half so that baby will have a room of her own. That in itself has been a pain in the butt... we (and I really mean Chris) have a lot of clothes. My god. Maybe we should add "add-on" to the project list above.

I assembled the crib (all by myself - thank you) and made the bed, moved the big chair & dresser to the nursery, installed a new curtain and folded a crap load baby of clothes. She is already taking after her daddy in that department. :) It's still not finished though because I have now decided to paint. But, I am "Paint Master Flash" and can slap a coat of paint on faster than cheese gives a dog gas. So, no worries there. Except for the gas part... that's almost worse than the Georgia death penalty. (little inside joke) lol

To top off my rambling for today, I would like to remind myself of a few things to be thankful for.

1. I am thankful that at almost 9 months pregnant, I can still tie my shoes.
2. I am thankful for the handles on the side of the mattress.
3. I am thankful that I do not yet resemble a manatee.
